Ultimate Team style templates make it easy to build a whole squad of cards on one consistent layout. Each card has space for a photo, a rating, a position and six attributes. Create one for every member of your team, family or group of friends, then arrange them in formation. Upload photos and we remove the backgrounds, fill in the details and check every card in the preview before ordering in a size from A5 to A0, anywhere between A5 and A0.
Planning a formation
Before you start, pick a formation such as 4 4 2 or 4 3 3 and decide who goes where. Use the position field for the code (GK, CB, CM, ST) and you can lay the finished cards out on a table, a clubhouse wall or the living room floor in shape.
It helps to write the eleven names on paper first. Then count your substitutes, because the bench is where most of the fun is.
Mixing ages and abilities
Family squads work well with these templates: a grandparent in goal, parents at the back, children up front. Ratings can be generous, honest or deliberately ridiculous. It is your squad.
For a Sunday league side, the same idea works with the real lineup. Rate each player out of 99 and let the team argue about it in the group chat before anything is printed.
Building it quickly
Team orders keep the whole squad together. Share a link so each person can upload their own photo, then fill in ratings and attributes in one sitting rather than chasing pictures for a week.
Use the same six attribute labels for every card so the set reads as one team. Pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physical are the classic choices.
Substitutes and coaches
Do not forget the bench. A card for the coach, the kit washer or the family dog makes the set complete, and the person who always brings the oranges deserves a rating too.
Substitutes can have lower overall ratings but a standout attribute, like 99 for tea making.
Which size to choose
A5 is a good desk or shelf size for each player. A3 works for a bedroom wall, and A2 is a good fit for a feature card of the captain. For a clubhouse display, a full squad in A4 or larger looks striking in formation. Prices start from £18.00.
Ideas for joke attributes
Not every attribute has to be about football. Try banter, punctuality, kit forgotten, excuses, celebration quality and half time snack choice. Swap in one or two real stats so the card still feels like a player card.
Keep the jokes kind. The best ones are the ones the player would put on the card themselves.
Questions, answered
How many cards can I make?
As many as you like, one per person. Each card has its own photo, name, rating and attributes, so a full eleven plus substitutes is easy to build.
Can people upload their own photos?
Yes. Share a link through team orders and everyone can add their own photo, which saves you collecting pictures yourself.
Can I lay the cards out in formation?
Yes. Use the position field to plan who goes where, then arrange the finished cards in formation on a table or a wall.
Can I preview every card?
Yes. Each card has its own preview, so you can check names, ratings and spellings before you order.
