Sky blue has become one of the defining colours of modern English football, with Manchester City's recent run of titles drawing in a new generation of fans alongside those who stood by the club through leaner years at Maine Road. This card takes its colours from City and gives the starring role to your player. Choose a photo, add a name, a position and six stats, and check it in the preview. Light and bright

Sky blue is a soft, light base, so darker kits and well lit faces stand out clearly. We remove the background from your photo, which means a picture from the Etihad, a park or the back garden all work.

If they wear sky blue in the photo, look for a shot with good contrast around the face.

Stats for a control player

City's style is built on control of the ball. Try stats like passes completed, possession won, key passes and goals. For a goalkeeper who likes to play out from the back, add passes completed to the usual clean sheets.
