Olympique Lyonnais won seven French titles in a row in the 2000s, a French record, and their academy has produced a string of international players. Les Gones, the kids, is a nickname that fits a club so proud of its youth system. This card takes its colours from Lyon and makes your player the star. Upload a photo, add a name, a position and six stats, then see it in the preview. It suits a young academy player, a French family in Britain or a team on a winning streak.

A card for a winning streak

Lyon's run of seven titles is a reminder of what consistency can do. If your team is on a streak, put the numbers on a card: consecutive wins, unbeaten matches, titles in a row.

For academy players

Lyon are known for their youth system. A card for a youngster in a club academy, with stats like seasons in the system, goals and assists, gives them something to aim at and a record to look back on.

Photo tips

Lyon's colours make a bright, light design, so players in coloured or dark tops stand out well. The background comes off automatically, so the setting of the photo does not matter.

Sizes for a player or a whole team

Choose from A5 to A0, from £18.00. An A5 card suits an academy player's desk, A3 fits a bedroom wall, and an A1 or A0 is big enough to honour a whole team or a long serving coach in the clubhouse. Preview first, then order.

A card for a coach who develops players

Lyon's academy owes a lot to its coaches. A card for a youth coach at your club, with stats like players coached, seasons volunteered and players who moved up an age group, makes a heartfelt thank you at the end of the year.

A card for a women's team

Lyon's women's team has won the European title more times than any other club, and it has inspired a generation of girls to play. If your club runs a women's or girls' side, a card for every player on the same design celebrates them properly. Use stats like goals, assists, clean sheets and seasons at the club. Team orders make it easy, as each player or parent can add their own photo from one shared link.

Questions, answered

Is this connected to Olympique Lyonnais?

No. CardStar is independent of the club. The card only uses Lyon's colours and has no club marks.

Can I make a card for a young player?

Yes. A card works for any player of any age, from a six year old at a Saturday morning club to a veteran in a Sunday league side.

Can I write the stats in French?

Yes. Stats and positions are free text, so French labels work.

Can I preview before ordering?

Yes. The preview shows the card as it will be printed, so you can check the crop and the spelling before you order.
