An EA FC style template gives each part of your card a place: overall rating, position, name, portrait and six attributes. You supply the details of your own player and check how they fit together in the preview. Start with a sharp photo, then fill in the personal information to prepare a gift or a consistent set for your football group.

Start with the portrait

Choose a photo with a clearly visible face. We remove the background to place the person on the design. Adjust the position and zoom in the preview until the crop gives the portrait enough room. A sharp image makes this first step easier, whether the picture was taken on the pitch or at home.

Add the name and position

Use the name teammates know the recipient by and check the spelling. Choose a position or abbreviation they understand. Read both details together before moving to the numbers. They should make the person and their own way of playing recognisable rather than repeat the information from a professional player’s card.

Define the six attributes

Work through the attributes in a fixed order so nothing gets missed. Adapt labels and values to the player’s position and experience. If you use personal ratings, choose an understandable approach. A goalkeeper and a forward can show different qualities even when you use the same template for the entire squad. Keep the details connected to the individual.

Choose a consistent overall rating

Decide what the overall rating should express before entering it. It can summarise a personal assessment, improvement or the reason for the gift. Check that it fits the six attributes and that the recipient understands its meaning. For several cards, keep a shared approach so the ratings across the set remain easy to interpret.

Plan the size of the result

Six sizes are available within A5 to A0, with prices from $22.00. Think about where the gift will be displayed: on a desk, shelf or wall. Review the free space and chosen format before ordering. For a set, also check that the sizes fit the way you want to present the cards together.

Review the details in the preview

Check the name, position, overall rating and six attributes, then review the portrait one last time. Every card is printed to order and cut to its outline. For several players, players or parents can submit images through a photo collection link before you prepare the individual personal cards for your football group.
