Athletic Club is one of the most unusual stories in world football: a club from the Basque Country that has built its teams from Basque-born and Basque-raised players for over a century, and still holds its own in Spain's top flight. If you follow the Lions from San Mamés, from elsewhere in Spain or from across the Atlantic, this page lets you put someone you know into a card colored like their famous striped jersey. Upload a photo, type a name, a position and six stats, and see the result before choosing a size from A5 to A0 (A5 to A0).
Rojiblancos stripes around your player
The design borrows the bold red and white stripes and the black shorts that Bilbao fans know at a glance. Your player's photo goes on top, and the background is cut away automatically so they stand out against the colors instead of a kitchen wall or a parking lot. A sharp, well lit face matters most, and a plain top is easiest to read on stripes.
Homegrown stats for a homegrown club
Bilbao is famous for players who came up through its own academy at Lezama, so lean into that. Try seasons at the same club, academy years, headers won or tackles in the rain. For a younger fan, list years in the local team, pintxos eaten after a match or trips to San Mamés. Every field is free text.
A gift for Basque fans abroad
Plenty of Athletic supporters live far from Bizkaia, in Madrid, London, Boise or Buenos Aires. A personalized card is a simple way to send a little of home to someone who still watches every match at odd hours. Birthdays, graduations and the start of a new season all suit one.
For derby week against Real Sociedad
The Basque derby is one of the friendliest rivalries in Spain, but nobody wants to lose it. Make a card for derby week with a predicted score as one of the stats, then make a second in blue and white for the Real Sociedad fan in your life and settle it after the final whistle.
Choosing a size
Sizes run from A5 to A0, starting at $22.00. A5 is easy to wrap and hand over, A3 hangs in a bedroom, and A1 or A0 goes up beside a scarf or a match ticket in a clubhouse. Each one is printed to order, cut to the outline of the card and shipped worldwide from our production sites in the UK, EU and USA.
Cards for a whole Lions squad
Running a youth side, an indoor league team or a supporters' club? Team orders let you build every player's card in one place. Share a single link and each parent uploads their own child's photo, so you do not have to chase pictures by message.

Is CardStar linked to Athletic Club?
No. CardStar is independent and has no connection to Athletic Club. The design uses red and white stripes inspired by the club, with no club marks.
What photo should I upload?
A clear picture where the face is in focus and well lit. The background is removed for you, so the location does not matter.

Do you ship to the United States?
